About Us 

Hello friends, family, and colleagues! ​​Davina and Corwin are professors at SUNY New Paltz. One great perk of the job is sabbatical. We take it very seriously.​​ On our first sabbatical in 2016, we lived abroad in Thailand and Peru. The experience was wonderfully productive (research, research, research) and enjoyable (travel, travel, travel). We kept a travel blog to stay in touch that year.​​

We couldn't resist the opportunity to travel again for this new sabbatical (2024-2025). Once again, we are living in Bangkok, Thailand, this time for the entire year. We love the quality of life here. We plan to travel within Thailand and the broader region. We'll use this travel blog to share photos and experiences.​
